We were accommodated impeccably. We went on a low season and it was great for the families with babies. Amazing view, Luna and cats followed us everywhere which we never felt alone. Same as Luis took us to their farm for a visit and we had a chance to know a lot for their coffee production.

The apartment is very clean and comfortable, colorful and nice. The hosts helped us with making reservations for trips and restaurants and were always available for everything we needed. We chose to have breakfast and it was delicious, it was served on the terrace with a great view over the garden. Maxime put a lot of effort arranging the garden and it looked spectacular, it was even a small pond with fish. We recommend staying at Casa dos Castanheiros and we hope to return soon.

Clean, comfortable, nice location, quiet. Very attentive and caring service from Sara (thank you once again!) who was there every day and took care of everything. A washing machine was also available if needed. The kitchen (I cooked for 12 days) was well equipped. Good location - close to a supermarket, about a 30-minute walk to the centre. Although it is better to have a car on the island, it is difficult to get anywhere else outside Angra.
