Sonia and Jonah were amazing hosts. We had a terrific stay at the Vila. They took time to welcome us, to provide us with useful information about how to get around, where you eat and what to do. Our room was very comfortable even though it was not the biggest. The bathroom was very nice and spacious. There was even a make-up mirror. Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of choice. Even for my wife who is wheat and dairy allergic. Many alternatives were available. The light in the room was very pleasant because it was not the usual white blinding light. Our room was overlooking a small garden and next to the breakfast room there was another bigger garden. The Vila is located only 10 minutes away by walking distance from the town center. By the way, Coimbra is a very lovely student town that we highly recommend to visit as much as to stay at Vila Julieta.

The apartment felt safe, quiet, and very comfortable throughout my stay. It’s clear that the host pays attention to detail and cares about guest experience. Out of all the places I’ve rented in Coimbra, this has been one of the best. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city
