It was about 1h 20- 1h40 by bike from the tagbilaran pier. I’ve heard the road is better if I take the one go through balilihan than loboc , from the port to here.

Every single thing about our stay here was exquisite. The reception/cafe/resturant building was such an amazing place to hangout. The view is so serene and I could stay there all day HAPPILY. Not to mention the paninis are 10/10, the COFFEE was incredible (I had the oat milk vanilla latte) and the shakes were unreal. I actually have no words for the accomodation. It felt like a beautiful blend of hobbit, star wars, and jungle book. The domes were so unique, clean and comfortable. I simply cannot recommend this place enough!!!!

Set in San Juan, Almare Guest House Siquijor offers beachfront accommodation less than 1 km from Tubod Beach and offers various facilities, such as a private beach area and a garden. The property features sea and garden views, and is 2 km from Maite Beach. The accommodation features a shuttle service, while a bicycle rental service is also available. We enjoyed our stay so much we had to extend our stay. The property is beautiful, with an amazing view of the sea. There is direct access to the ocean and to an incredible snorkeling spot literally full of turtles just metres away from the shore and close to Tubod Marine Sanctuary. The room is clean, comfortable, hot water is available and AC works perfectly. There is also a kettle in the room with coffee and teas. Snorkelling gear is available. Our transfers from/to the port were arranged and we could rent a motorbike next door. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and carefully prepared. But it is the hosts Roualt and Charity which really make this place very special. Saying they are attentive, friendly, kind and helpful is not enough. From the beginning we were treated like family, we were invited to parties and family celebrations and shared many good moments (and drinks! 😆) with them and the other guests. Thanks to Kim as well who always has a smile on his face and is very helpful. We arrived as guests but left as friends, and the tears we cried when it was finally time to leave show that this is no exaggeration. We cannot thank you enough for your warmth and kindness and will always remember you ❤️ We hope to come back one day with our children as promised to Charity 😃

The staff were very accommodating and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The location is excellent, as it’s close to famous restaurants and attractions, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The place itself is nice and comfortable, though there’s room for improvement with the shower there was no heater, and the water pressure was quite low. Despite this, it was an overall pleasant stay, and I would definitely recommend it to my friends. Looking forward to visiting again!

They arranged bike hire for us for a really low price and even dropped us off at the port once we checked out. Rooms are cleaned daily and there’s a nice shared kitchen available to use when needed. Drinking water is also supplied and the wifi was honestly some of the fastest we’ve had since we’ve been in the Philippines! 10/10!
