The owner is very kind, helpful, she speaks good English and can organize you everything.

Bikes for hire close by but Pierre and Motire are happy to help out transport wise if you need a lift somewhere or want to go further afield. They were great hosts. Their place is close to the Tiputa diving pass, where you can also watch dolphins jumping. Sunrise on the ocean side and incredible sunsets on the lagoon side. And don’t forget to look up at the stars. Incredible. I can highly recommend this place.

At the hostel, all rooms are equipped with a patio. Featuring a shared bathroom with a shower, rooms at Kura Ora Guest House also have free WiFi, while some rooms come with a garden view. The units will provide guests with a fridge. What a wonderful place to stay! Everything is new and very clean. Lots of personal touches. A beautiful bay with beach was 3 minutes walking. The hosts were so nice, helped arrange the excursions. The dock and the Dive center were eight minute walking, with Great restaurants right there. The diving was excellent saw turtles, dolphins very close almost touching… I would absolutely stay in this guest house again. The hosts and their daughter were all lovely kind and caring. Excellent stay!!!!

We spent some time at tiputa lodge, which is a perfect place to relax and be away from the crowds. The quite new house is divided into the part where Henry lives and the flat, which he rents out, so one is the only guest. The apartment is beautifully furnished and is designed to perfection. We found ourselves mostly sitting outside on the terrace overlooking the lagoon. It is a nice place to snorkel and swim and I also went out on the Kajak provided. There are also deckchairs at the water. You have two bikes to explore the islands.The internet is superfast and reliant. Henry makes a great breakfast, we loved all the coconut breads, cakes and the best sweet coconut water. Also he makes very nice joghurt. At night he would pick up something from the snack for us or drive us to a small restaurant and come to pick us up to bring us back. (He did not advice to bike at night because of the dogs). We had a lovely time at Henry, we shared his passion for diving and we can recommend Tiputa lodge 100%

She took us in her car all around the island, showed us local " hang out" for nurse sharks, gave us tips on eating out, let us use her bikes. The bungalow is spotless clean and everything in great working condition. A big bonus - drinking water is provided. Transfers were included. A nice fridge is a plus.

Good for email, marginal for the internet. There is a "road" to "town" but it doesn't connect to the road from the airport. On a busy day, maybe six cars went by. You want to escape traffic, this is the place. Boats are how you get around. Snorkeling and kayaking right off the beach of our bungalow. Excursions to places around the atol come right to your deck to pick you up. There are some cool adventures, do them. Ilona, the host, is an excellent cook. Polynesian comfort food. Take the meal plan. Bring your own alcohol and snacks for lunch. Easy to get a taxi to the local grocery store from the airport when you arrive, if you ask. Then, taxi will take you to the boat that shuttles you to the place. Our cup of tea, we loved it. Your mileage may differ.
