Beautiful views, hot showers, extremely comfortable bed & spacious room, delicious breakfast and tea provided all day. We ended up staying 3 nights instead of 1. It was the perfect lake & community experience. Leo & his family are extremely welcoming, kind, accommodating and truly give you a magical experience and look in on their life on the lake. If you want an authentic, unique, interesting experience with delicious home cooked food, relaxation, and luxury for an extremely reasonable price this is the place to go. Leo organised a tour for us to go to the island and also took us on a tour around the lake showing us how they build the islands then to a different little island. He showed us the little shops on the lake, took us for his morning collection of fish and taught us some of his native language. It was the best part of our trip and we’re so grateful to have had this experience.

The staff is very friendly and supportive. The location is 10 min walking from the plaza de armas and 10 min walking from the bus station. We loved the location because was in between of everything. We didn’t have time to have breakfast but the lady made us some snacks for the go and that was very kind. Thank you
