The family is so nice ! It was a really immersion in the community and the family! We learned so much about the Taquile island, the community, the daily life. Food is great ! No tourists after 3pm so you have the island for you and have a little hike to discover the rest of the island.

Lovely room, hottest shower we've had so far in south America!! Nice breakfast too which starts at 6am so can squeeze in before early tours/buses. Not far from the bus station which was convenient

Jose went above and beyond to help us out whilst we stayed here! Was super communicative, and helped us order taxis to the bus station early in the morning, looked after our bags whilst we went on an overnight tour on the lake and so much more! Showers were hot, and beds super comfy! We had the breakfast before our early morning tour which was also great. Would highly recommend staying here :)

Very hospitable hosts!! We arrived and they made us hot chocolate, then served us personally for breakfast outside of their usual breakfast hours as we had an early tour. Very welcoming.

Very comfortable and clean place with great views on the lake. Breakfast included and good WiFi. I was travelling with my motorbike and they had space for me in the garage. A little walk to the centre but nothing too much - 25 min. Overall felt safe neighbourhood. Thank you!

The host is very kind and friendly. She is always happy to help and tries to provide all the information you need. Even though my Spanish wasn't very good, she used Google Translate for effective communication with me. I was supposed to stay only one night, but my stay was extended due to my flight cancellation. After dealing with the stressful situation at the airport, she gave me a warm welcome when I returned to the hotel, which made me feel at home and relieved. Also, the location is great. For instance, there are some markets and a mall within walking distance. It takes about 10 minutes to get to Juliaca airport by taxi and about 15 minutes by colectivo (route B-1).
