The guest house was very close to the airport. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They even drove me to the airport with my luggage. The airconditioning in the room worked very well. I felt very comfortable there.

Beautiful house, with a well equipped kitchen and lovely tranquil garden. The bus into the city leaves from right outside the property so it's easy to get around. Good place to rest and have a relaxing peaceful time. Host was friendly welcoming and attentive, made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

The hostel is in a beautiful traditional house at about 1/2 hour walk from the center (beware of motortaxi drivers who will tell you all sorts of lies to convince you to go to another hotel of their choice so they can get a commission). The room, living room and kitchen are new and well organized and equipped. Sarisa is a wonderful host who will help you in any way and can advise you about tours in the jungle, etc.

It was a pleasure to stay in Otorongo Guest House. It was like a big family of locals and travellers, you have privacy in your room but you always find someone to talk with in the garden or in the living room. Nice breakfast, Gabi, the owner is a cool and helpful lady. :) The whole house feels like home. Beautiful memory for me, I hope I will return there one day. It's better to stay in the suburb of Iquitos, because the downtown is very noisy in the night.

Absolutely amazing! I booked last minute and arrived late but they organized a super reliable transfer from the bus station. They also helped me get a hammock for my slow boat journey to Iquitos. Early in the morning, they provided another reliable transfer to the boat. The room is comfortable and the big smart tv is a nice touch.
