This is more like a hotel than a hostel and the common areas inside and out are lovely to hang out in. Breakfast was lovely too and all of the staff I met could not do enough to help you in any way they could with bus advice or local tours etc.

Breakfast was amazing. Showers had good hot water that lasted just long enough for a shower on full pressure (turn down the pressure and I’m sure it lasts much longer) Staff was great. Nancy was very helpful even though she couldn’t really speak English (and my Spanish is worst than her English. She did speak almost fluent French). But husband Alfredo was great with English and helping me plan my stay.

It’s about 10-15 minutes on foot to the center. Very friendly owner who also owns a travel agency. He goes out of his way to help us for example to order pizza for us and to help us booking tickets for Kuelap online. We ordered a taxi with him to get us around and the driver Ivan was wonderful in also giving us explanations and talking about Peru people in general (possible even with our limited knowledge of Spanish).

The place is run by a young couple that is very friendly and helpful. The owner also manages his own agency and can help out with questions. Hot and powerful shower. Good breakfast included. Location is literally around the corner of the main streets and the plaza with various restaurants. I absolutely had a lovely stay here!!
