Beautiful quiet spot surrounded by mountains. The pool was wonderful too, with natural hot sping water in it. There is a beautiful terrace outside to enjoy. We had a nice welcome from Alex and he was available to answer our questions and advice us. Alex has special skills to release knocks on your back so do not hesitate to take a treatment with him. This is something unique in the world.

The hostel was super well located, we were literally at the beach! the room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was delish.
The receptionist Andrea was amazing from the beginning to the end of my stay and how can I forget the star of the place??... a super cute dog named Penny... I definitely recommend this place!!! ❤️🏖

Excellent value for a large, comfortable space with good amenities. Only 300m from a large shopping mall and the main road through the city. The location itself was quiet overnight, the wifi and air conditioning and shower all worked well.

Las Catelinas is a wonderful place to stay in the charming quiet town of Anton. The location is peaceful, offering an escape from the big cities.
The accommodation is comfortable, well-maintained, and provides a great local experience. The only minor issue was occasional trouble with running water, but it didn’t significantly affect our stay. Overall, everything was excellent, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Panama.

We had a wonderful stay at Escapada al mar in Panama! The place was exactly what we were looking for on our way back to Panama City —comfortable, clean, and perfectly located near the beach. One of the highlights was the access to a private beach club, complete with a swimming pool as well as sunbeds, and parasols on the beach - it really elevated the whole experience. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. We felt very well taken care of and truly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene getaway by the sea!

We had a really great time in this hostel! It‘s still pretty new and the concept of the beds in each room is amazing for backpackers! You have everything you need from a big spacious kitchen to a beautiful garden with hammocks and billard :) the people working there are super helpful and the host gave us tips where to hike and even drove us to the starting point of the India Dormida trail which we can highly recommend. Thank you for the amazing time!

It was a great place to stay. They were really helpful after another place canceled our reservation on the spot. The room had enough space and kitchen essentials for a couple. The pool looked amazing, though we didn’t have time to use it. I’d like to go back.

The beach house was ideal for what we needed. We took up 2 of the 4 rooms and used the common area quite a bit. The rooms are simple and comfortable with AC. There are facilities to store food and cook but we only used the fridge. The beach is 30 seconds away and the Lilian restaurant is about 6 minute walk! Perfect! The breakfast was basic but tasty - eggs with toast and coffee. The Fonda across the road is great for lunch too. Patricia was a fabulous host, helpful, attentive and friendly. Would 100% recommend!

This is a very nice and comfortable hostel! One of thr best I have ever stayed. The dormitory room is very good, the beds are separeted, very comfortable. The common area is big have enough soace for everybody, the kitchen is well equiped. Quiet sorrundings, but the center is not far. This is a super hostel with verykind staffs! Definately recommend it for everybody!

The setting is sublime, a country feel with the trees, pond and ducks and geese. The lovely spring fed pool is a welcome asset after a day of hiking!
Alejandro is a very attentive host and always available to help with any request. The rooms are very comfortable and the shared kitchen is a useful bonus. Relaxing on the large terrace is very enjoyable and the walk into town is easy and picturesque, passing the neighbouring ranch houses with beautiful landscaping.

Great location right near the trail head of La India Dormida. The owner Ariel went out of his way to make us feel at home and make our travels easy. He is probably the most hospitable host we have ever encountered in our travels. He met us in town at the bus stop and offered to drop us off at the bus stop when we were leaving. He is very knowledgeable about the town and activities, and loves to share music and stories. The communal spaces are very homely, there is a big backyard space and a river alongside the property.
