The place is quiet and close to several locations. The host kindly waited for us although we arrived almost 1:30 am and received us at the house door. The room is spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is also big and clean.

Muscat City Centre is a 5 km away. Really enjoyed my stay at Lana Villa. The two ladies who run things day to day are so lovely and helpful, they prepared breakfast early when requested due to a trip I'd booked, let me use their iron, and offered to store my luggage for me after I checked out. The omelettes were great too! The owner Oliver is also very nice and always introduced himself to guests, and offered tips for travelling in Oman. The villa itself has some nice shared spaces such as the roof terrace and the main lounge downstairs, with books and travel guides. There's also a shared fridge for guests to keep things in which was useful. Overall a great stay and good location, about 10 minutes from the airport by taxi.
