The location was perfect for visiting the glow worm caves as it was only a short drive away. Would 100% recommend staying here!

There is great attention to design and it looks like something you’d see in a best home magazine. Lovely views. The hosts are warm and helpful.

Very private and modern one bedroom cottage located next to the original house, and continental breakfast supplied which came in handy as we had to leave early for our tour at Hobbiton. Beautiful garden and very friendly hosts which gave us tips on how to break the algorithms on the internet to get a last minute booking for the next day, to get on a tour around Hobbiton - which had been sold out up to that point.

Featuring a garden, Hahei Pavillion Guest House is located in Hahei in the Waikato region, 600 metres from Hahei Beach and 1.3 km from Cathedral Cove. We loved everything about our stay in Hahai! Andrea and Mike were wonderful hosts, personally welcoming us to accommodation and guiding us to the best local eats and things to do. The room was large, including the bathroom and provided us everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The accomodation backs directly onto a park and tennis court, and provides access to the main strip with the local pub, cafe and convenience store. We also walked to Cathedral Cove from the accomodation via the beach (and pathway that has a sign not to walk though but found it was still walkable, just overgrown plants), it must of taken about an hour to walk each way (the walk is much longer and hilly than I had anticipated, but its a beautiful walk along the coastline so you can take your time and enjoy the view). Its also a 10min drive to Hot Water Beach, and loved that the shovels are provided.
