After almost one month travelling we found this amazing homestay where we felt like home and had some of our best days in this incredible country. It's been truly a gift to find this beautiful family, the accommodation is just perfect with stunning views of the valley and the monastery, the room is super cute and very comfortable, and the food is delicious. Namobuddha and surroundings are very interesting and peaceful, we came for 2 days and stayed 5! This kind of place remains forever in the heart and its memory will draw a smile on your face when you'll think of them. Thank you to all the family! We'll come back!

I stayed in Nirvana Kuti following the recommendation of Linda, a wonderful woman that I met in Delhi airport. She was indeed accurate: Nirvana Kuti is such a beautiful accomodation, comfortable, clean and pretty new. It was easy to feel home. Besides the comfort of the room, with a big, warm bed, with views to the temple just in front of the house, it is located just a few steps from Durbar square, in a very calm street. I slept extremely well and woke up to the beautiful views. Life is magical and I met Bobby, the owner of Nirvana Kuti, even before my stay. He kindly offered me a ride to Nirvana Kuti, and he made it very easy for me to feel home. Even more, he also allowed me to stay a bit longer because my bus was leaving in the evening. I appreciate Bobby's kindness and the beautiful taste in which the house is built. It is both comfortable and stylish, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you Bobby for making of my last days in Kathmandu (for this time) a beautiful experience and see you next time ♡

Wonderful breakfast! Very helpful staff - whenever we needed something they were able to bring it to us. It is nice to be in a place supporting a good cause. There is a wonderful garden where we ate.

Convenient Location: Located a few steps from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and 9 km from Tribhuvan International Airport, the guest house is near attractions such as Boudhanath Stupa and Patan Durbar Square. Guests appreciate the convenient location and scenic views. The hotel is on the edge of Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and our room looked directly out to the old palace and temples. Our view was gorgeous. When we wanted to go exploring, we could just step out of the hotel and everything was walking distance. The staff were extremely helpful. In fact, there was a glitch in the Booking.com app where our itinerary, inexplicably, did not match the hotel's. We got a bit anxious and stubborn because we had transcribed our intinerary based on our trip listings in the Booking app. But the owner very patiently asked us to sit down and figure it out, and we were humbled to find that our schedule was mixed up. We were able to sort it all out, because we were taking a side trip to stay outside of town for a night, returning to stay at Shiva House again. Shiva House stored our luggage while we were away. Also, the food in the restaurant is excellent. *There is a restaurant right next door as well, with a beautiful garden courtyard, worth checking out. We hired Myla (not sure of the spelling) to drive us to many sites, which was a great help. Everything is easy walking distance from Shiva House, and we loved that we could walk back and take a break at any time.

I highly recommend and will definitely come back for my next stay in KTM !
