The farm is beautifully kept, and the attention to detail is impressive — the owners haven’t missed a thing. I’m so glad places like this exist in the more remote corners of Norway. I really like the concept, and there are several unique options to choose from, depending on the kind of experience you’re after — from glass cabins to yurts. We stayed in the three bedrooms apartment at Mormorhuset, and it was great value for money.

Absolutely loved staying here, Sigrun was a great host and the farm itself was extremely charming, lots of soul and history. Was only there for a night but I would’ve liked to have stayed longer. Patrick was a great host. Very helpful and quick to respond. The cottage was adorable. Like a rustic, cozy cabin with all the amenities. The bed was very comfortable. The view was amazing. And located close to Oslo, but was a quiet oasis. Would highly recommend a stay!

I recommend this accommodation. Found it quickly. The friendly host was quick to answer all questions. Everything corresponds to the description. Convenient parking right in front of the house. The apartment is large and comfortable. Good kitchen. It has all the necessary equipment and good crockery. The beds are comfortable. We had a good night's sleep. Good linen. Everywhere is clean. The shower room is big and clean. There was shower gel and soap. The only inconvenience was we couldn't switch off the light in the extractor in the kitchen. This needs to be fixed.

This was the best place for us to stay for the night in a quiet cabin on a farm after our busy week end retreat. we could do our washing and cook our own meals. Kitchen was well equiped for us to make pancakes in the morning. Will stay there again in a heart beat. super cosy. Great to get in the cabin with a number lock so we could choose our own timing. Thank you.

Ingrid and Terje were wonderful hosts and terrific artists as well. The accommodations were simple but beautifully designed and comfortable. We wished we could have stayed for much longer!

The owner was very kind and he let me store my bike in his garage. The bed was comfortable. There's a shop nearby and it's easy to get into central Oslo. It had a nice vibe of a shared house :)
