If you want to hike to Segla or its neighbouring mountains, this is a great place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was very organised in general. The beds were comfy and warm. The shared rooms were furnished very nicely and invited to rest after a strenuous hike. We didn't meet the hosts in person, but they were very responsive to messages and helpful for any questions we had.

However, it's separated from the host bathroom, which is also located in the lower level, by just a door. I found that a bit odd. However, life works in wonderful ways. This proximity made possible for me to work remotely out of my host's room, an alternative that she offered when it was clear that the Internet service did not support my needs in the guest room. The host was attentive, friendly, and ready to help with my situation. This area IMHO is one of the most beautiful in the entire continent. The value of this property lies on its proximity to the fantastic hiking trails. The Hesten trailhead is one block away.
