I really had a wonderful stay at Managua backpackers. The management Bob and Michael were very friendly and helpful. My only problem was not staying for longer but I will definately return and stay longer next time. Thank you for your excellent service.

When I booked it was the cheapest bed in Managua on booking.com at ~$10usd and it was close to the bus terminal I used. They don't claim to have anything that's not there, which is nothing except a bed and bathroom. If that's all you're looking for then great, if you want a hostel (chair to sit in, kitchen, hot water, air conditioning, common area, etc: this is not your place).
The hostel is good for a stopover in Managua for a day or two. It's nice to have a pool and there is a shopping mall with supermarket and ATM 10 minutes walk away. There's also a Japanese themed park around the corner. The owner was helpful and knowledgeable.
