Hostal Mariela is a cozy family run hostel, located close to Cortan Norte bus station in Esteli. Cotran Sur is a walkable distance too; or a super quick and cheap shared taxi ride away. The location worked perfect for me, as I planned to take buses to nearby locations such as Miraflor, Estanzuela etc. It is close to supermarket and local shops, so you can buy fresh produce for your meals. The rooms are clean and comfortable; kitchen is clean and well equipped. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Super convenient.

The room was very big! Lots of living space and the bathroom was big too. Very clean and the host Alex was super friendly. My family and I would stay again and again when in Esteli
