We enjoyed our stay in Merdeka Guesthouse very much and actually extended it two times. The host is incredibly friendly and gave lots of helpful recommendations as well as a snack sometimes, the room nicely equipped and clean. Definitely recommend!

The longhouse Homestay is basic but charming, it has everything you need. Transport from and to airport, looking for activities to do, buying rice and pineapple and salt, they would help you with your request. Amazing and personalized services. The owner and his wife are local and really helpful with sorting out whatever you need. We ended up renting his van last minute to do a trip down to the Annah Rais longhouse and hot springs. The private room was comfortable and the place has a lot of character. It's right by a bunch of great restaurants, including, one of my favorite - Rice King.
