We loved this place. Its very chilled and has a great, relaxed atmosphere. We loved the owners Chris and Paul, who were very helpfull with booking our tours, and gave us some good advices where to go. Everything at very reasonable prices. The place was cozy and everything in order. At the rooftop we had a great night hanging out with friends of the house. Exactly how we liked it. We highly recommand the hostal. Ocho Barrios was far better than expected! The staff was very attentive, meeting our needs above and beyond expectation. We travel to San Cristobal at least 6 times per year for holidays, and although this was our first time staying at this property we will certainly stay there for all future trips.
