I enjoyed my stay with beautiful view and felt like home. It is located near La Prairie beach, which is only few minutes walking distance away. The host responds quickly to your questions and is helpful. The breakfast is great, especially the local fruits are the best! The bed is super comfortable so after a long day of swimming at the beach or hiking Le Morne, you can easily relax.

It was a fantastic place, quiet and peaceful. The houses and the garden were very picturesque and the view to Le Morne fabulous. And the sunset...... The hosts were very helpful and service minded and gave a lot of advices were to go and were to eat. If you want a romantic and quiet place in the south of Mauritius, we strongly recommend this place

Located on the West Coast of Mauritius Island, Le Gite du Bonheur Guest House & Car Rental is a self catering guest house located in Tamarin, at the foot of the popular La Tourelle Mountain and a 5... Peaceful and quiet. Being at the foot of the mountain, we were surrounded by greeneries. Great family room. Well decorated and equipped. A 4 minutes drive to the centre and the beach. The guest house is well located to visit the south and west areas.

My husband and I were very happy to stay. If you want to have a luxury experience then this place isn't the place to be for you. It is like a homestay, there's everything you need. The location is really good, the beach and restaurant are walking distance (within 7 min) The hosts are really friendly and helpful. Some reviews said the internet speed is low. But I could work smoothly(I didn't use video or voice call though) We didn't use kitchen for cooking. Gus stove with oven and pots are there. The washing machine isn't attached inside of your room, but it is outside for use. I am sure we will be back here if we come to Mauritius again !

The breakfast is what I usually like to have — good coffee, really good baguette, omelette and some fresh fruits. The place is very clean and well maintained. The owner really likes solid wood furniture. The beds, the dining tables and some others were shipped here from Bali. The hostess Sabrina was also amazing and helped us solve some logistics issues with local vendors.
