Unfortunately, at our first place, we didn’t have an ocean view, and we really wanted to make up for that. We were not disappointed here—there's a beautiful view, and if you get an apartment on the second floor, the view is even better. We had two rooms and a spacious kitchen. There was no hairdryer initially, but the host kindly provided one for us. The quick communication with the host was a big plus. Pipine was very considerate and offered us a cleaning service after 2-3 days of our stay. We declined since we are used to keeping things tidy ourselves. Another option available was the rental of a double kayak for 1000 rupees. I think this is a fair price, and we had a great time spending half a day on the kayak. We circled the island opposite and paddled to Crystal Rock Island—it was an amazing experience. The only downside I could mention is the parking. It can be difficult to park four cars, but I parked mine outside, and had no issues. Overall, I had an excellent experience at this place, and I would happily return.

We had many great conversations with them that we enjoyed a lot. The breakfasts they made were superb.

Our stay at the Maison was super! It had everything we wanted! We came to explore Mauritius and it was a perfect base from which we travelled to almost everywhere on this stunning paradise within 1 hour! The room was large, the view (indescribably beautiful the whole day and night with the most awesome sunsets), breakfasts on the terrace were enjoyable and not monotonous. Our hosts were kind and helpful. My wife wanted to buy some dragon fruit and we enquired where we can purchase it, next day Karine pitched up with a bag full on the house! For a guest house our room and balcony was really private, quiet and we seldomly noticed that there were other people around even when the parking lot was full and the rooms fully booked. The place has the perfect holiday vibe and if you so wished to; you could enjoy conversation and laughs anytime next to the wonderful pool with the hosts and other guests! Our room was perfectly cleaned every day with fresh linen regularly . (Thank you, Shandrina and Nat for your awesome service and friendliness, you were very much appreciated!) We snorkeled in the lagoon and although it is rather shallow we still saw some cute fish, some coral and a lot of sea urchins about 100m+ from the beach. The new Albion Mall with the Dodo Supermarket was a surprise as it stocked almost everything one would need for a stay. All in all: You did great! Well done Jerome and Karine! Thank You!!! Offering garden views, Les Terrasses du Bénitier is an accommodation situated in La Gaulette, 5.5 km from Paradis Golf Club and 20 km from Tamarina Golf Course. This guest house has a rooftop pool, a garden, barbecue facilities, free WiFi and free private parking. Guests can use the hot tub and the solarium, or enjoy pool views. Property is really ace. Lovely building tucked away on a residential street, easy parking and walking distance to lots of local restaurants, supermarket. Nice pool and rooms are spacious and great. Most of all the host Mathieu is a really great guy and couldn’t have done more for us. Clear instructions, great local tips, flex around check in and out times - just first class. We spent a bunch of time in a big-brand 5* resort before this and honestly now wish we’d stayed only done a couple of nights there max and spent much more time here. Quarter of the price and better overall local experience. Thanks for everything Mat!

All units comprise a seating area, and a fully equipped kitchen with various cooking facilities, including a microwave, a fridge and kitchenware. Units are equipped with a coffee machine, a private bathroom and free WiFi, while selected rooms also offer a terrace and some have sea views. At the guest house, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. When we first stumbled upon this accommodation, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Our hosts, Annick and Jean-Pierre, are the most thoughtful, gracious hosts (even when we called Annick for the pad key number which she had already sent us - twice!). They provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around the place. The spot is absolutely magic, with a view to die for overlooking not only the lagoon but also a UNESCO site mountain. It is just perfect! The place is compact and contains everything one needs. The bed is super comfortable, the outside shower is something one must not miss, and the quaint veranda overlooking the lagoon is excellent. I know I am repeating myself, but the location is just incredible - you literally hear the waves licking against the side of the room at night and wake up with a lagoon literally at your feet. Annick had excellent restaurant recommendations and for the overall area, and was of great help. Thanks Annick and Jean-Pierre for opening the doors of Harmonie to us. We had a wonderful weekend and will be back for sure (we will order some extra sun next time)

At Happy Days Guest House you will find barbecue facilities. Restaurants and supermarket can be found within 5 minutes' walk. This is an excellent accommodation. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable, and offer a stunning view. The owner is probably the kindest person in all of Mauritius. She is very helpful, accommodating, and always willing to assist in any way possible. She greatly helped us with a problem we encountered on our journey. Gregor and the two ladies who prepare breakfast and take care of cleaning are also very kind and helpful. They make excellent breakfasts and the best egg omelets. I highly recommend this accommodation to everyone. I look forward to returning to this place and staying here again. Thank you very much for everything!
