Dar Tawarta was perfect! The places is relaxing with a beautiful natural vibe of trees, fruit trees, animals and birds. The food is amazing, using produce from the garden with delicious meals cooked from the heart that were better than any of the other restaurants in the area. The rooms are a beautiful rustic Moroccan style and comfortable. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The owners are so friendly and hospitable, they have done an incredible job to make Dar Tawarta the perfect relaxing stay.

Rooms were quite comfortable and had a cheap, but cozy vibe. The staff were exceptional, they went above and beyond expectations. There was even a lady who cleaned the entire apartment every morning, which was great when you share a space with others.
The location was not in Dakhla, but a very nearby village only 6dh away from the city center. And the apartment was about a 2 minute walk away from a nice boardwalk and coastline on the lagoon side.

A comfortable, family-owned guest house in downtown Dakhla. this very solid building was built over a period of 2 years by the French owners. The interior walls are very solid so the rooms are wonderfully silent.
Breakfast is served each morning in a communal dining room.
A highlight of my stay was a day trip with Sidi (the neighbour) who took me in his 4WD into the desert.

It is a small Paradise there, also with the donkeys which makes it even much more adorable
