At the guest house, all units are equipped with bed linen and towels. We spent two nights at Iguana Azul and were very happy with our stay. The riad is perfectly located—right in the medina, yet tucked away on a quiet and beautiful street just off the main road. Upon arrival, the receptionist, Walid, kindly offered us a choice between two rooms. The rooms were spotless, clearly newly renovated, with a comfortable bed and plenty of space. The rooftop terrace was a lovely place to relax, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Amal at the reception was incredibly helpful in finding us the best way to travel from Chefchaouen to Rabat (note: when we were there, only one bus per day ran at 7 AM, but an alternative is taking a grand taxi to Tangier and then the TGV, which took us just 3.5 hours). We would have happily stayed longer—this is a truly comfortable, laid-back place, perfect for enjoying a coffee on the terrace with stunning views of the city. The guest house has family rooms. Stayed for one night and had a great experience! The place is very clean and beautifully decorated, with a lovely atmosphere throughout. The service was excellent—staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, close to the main street and some great spots for taking photos. The air conditioning worked well, which was a big plus. Breakfast on the terrace was a nice touch—tasty and relaxing. Highly recommend!

The staff were warm and attentive, and what made it extra special was that the owner himself personally picked us up and dropped us off — a rare and thoughtful touch. The food? Exquisite. Even a simple dinner felt romantic thanks to the ambiance they created, with soft music and a peaceful setting that made the evening feel magical. As someone who loves nature and hiking, I truly appreciated the location — yes, it’s up in the mountains, but that’s what makes it so special. If you’re a nature lover looking for serenity, this is the perfect escape.

We really enjoyed our stay at this pension. The hosts are really nice and they shared a lot of information to enjoy our stay in Chefchaouen! Also, they provided some help to find the best route to drive to Fes. The location is perfect to walk around the medina. We arrived by car but the parking was just 10 minutes by walk. The room had everything we needed. Also, the terrace is amazing, there's a great view from there. We totally recommend!
