Good size, clean rooms, and excellent staff and service. Great value for money. Food was tasty and affordable, and breakfast was super. We organised a safari through them at a very competitive rate and had the best time. Saw a leopard, elephants, deer, and many more birds and animals.

They did above and beyond to help me out, notably finding and then physically hailing mystery bus #10 direct to Elle which saved me 7 hours travel time. Facilities were clean, comfortable and relaxing even though, because I was too cheap to pay for air conditioning, a little hot in the early evenings. I suggest you choose more wisely. They have free bikes, which I was unable to take advantage of but others raved about and the on site food was very good. Bring guitar pics, music, and a few licks for their talented son.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Mailagama Cinnamon Residence is a recently renovated guest house set in Kataragama, 21 km from Situlpawwa. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Great host. Took us through their spice trail and cinnamon processing plant which was a great experience!

He sent us the bus schedule from Ella to Tissa, he drove us around the lake to see crocodiles and birds, and bats at a late time, he also arranged the safari in Yala for us for a great price, and prepared an early breakfast before leaving at 4:30. He drove us with his tuktuk when we needed to catch the bus to Tangalle and checked that we had successfully arrived. The room was also cozy and the location of the hotel is not far from the main road.

Lovely homestay, recently built tree house cabins with lots of nature. Family is kind and helpful and I highly recommend booking your yala safari with them.

There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The guest house features family rooms. Suduweli Beauty of Nature is a treasure trove. When we reached at the evening, we saw some peacock roaming around outside. We immediately went to them. This was an awe inspiring experience. The owner and his wife were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. They arrange the Yala safari for us. She also made us a lot of breakfast - was very tasty. We were lucky to saw a leopard in the safari. The driver was very helpful and show us more places than usual. The place is really beautiful. And we will miss the dog Chango who was very much playful and very unhappy when we left. It was just a night yet we will miss this place.
