The food, the hospitality, the help, the room everything was just right. We got to the hotel about 1pm and asked if we could do the afternoon safari at 2. no problem whatsoever. We saw a heard of elephants with the babies feeding and the whole family interacting. Never normally stay in a hotel for the evening but had dinner there and it was amazing. same with breakfast, would highly recommend.

At the guest house, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Anju, his brother and mom were amazing. The mom cooked delicious dinner for us, with a birthday cake and gift for my partner. The rooms big and clean,nice bathroom. Nice veranda, nice gardens. Loads of mosquitoes- but that’s Sri Lanka. There is a net over the bed if you want. Had trouble with the hot water which was fixed right away. For us the mattress was very hard and in the room there isn’t a chair. We did the safari which was amazing - so worth it! Breakfast was simple with egg toast, some Sri Lanken food, fruit tea and coffee Thanks Anju and dear family - we’ll be back for sure.

Dimu and his wife were so genuine and lovely, and the curries were delicious. Dimu organised a safari tour with Sumudu as our guide. Sumudu's knowledge and respect for the animals was very much appreciated. We saw many wild elephants, Sambur deer (very rare), deer, wild boar, golden jackals, Buffalo, crocodiles, peacocks, monitor lizards, mongoose and many beautiful birds. One of the highlights of our trip! Thanks for an amazing stay, Dimu!

Located within 16 km of Udawalawe National Park in Udawalawe, Forest Edge Safari Villa features accommodation with seating area. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk and parking on-site. We had a wonderful stay there. We could watch the forrest with the monkeys from the room. The host was more then service orientated. Breakfast was more than fantastic. Price for value was amazing. We can really recommend it.

The guest house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. We loved the quiet location and that it is family run. The room is so lovely, clean and comfortable. Mango Tree House organized two unforgettable safari trips. On the full day of safari a lovely breakfast and lunch were packed up for us. Owners are so kind and helpful. Also, the food is the best food we’ve had this whole trip! Incredible vegetarian Sri Lankan food- we are worried we will never find curry that tastes as good again!

The guest house features family rooms. Nice tent house, really friendly and welcoming hosts. We were greated by a welcome drink, the family cooked us a really nice 4 curry dinner. They also helped us organise a safari trip and gave us a king coconut on our way out. We really enjoyed our stay and the whole experience. Highly recommend.
