The room was just amazing, spotless clean, you can definitely sense the attention to every detail. The location is great, quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees all around. The view is spectacular, you can see the waterfall and hear the sound of running water from distance when lying in your bed, just a wonderful scene to wake up to. Saman prepared a delicious breakfast and delivered it to the room by herself just to make sure that we do not need anything else. This was by far one of the best places we have been to in Ella. We would definitely book that place again on every trip back to Ella. We highly recommend this place.

Her behavior was absolutely exceptional, and she spoke English very well, which made everything so easy. It truly felt like a privilege to stay with her. One of the rare people who made us feel completely safe and cared for, without any pressure or intention to make money off us!!She always recommended the best options for our trips, ensuring we had the best experience. The food was delicious— Begum is an excellent cook, and I highly recommend trying her meals! The room was clean, with a comfortable bed. Our private shower was just across our room. Great terrace overlooking a stunning view. Super close to attractions like Adams peak and nine arch bridge aswell. The lovely man running this place took such good care of us , loved a chat , brought us Sri Lankan snacks and made us such a great (huge) breakfast every morning. Hoppers and coconut roti so yum! Room feels fancy 5 star hotel , comfy bed , hot water from shower. Great price Definitely can’t recommend this place enough if you’re in Ella ❤️🙏

The management team set us up with a pickup from the station and they provided us with one of their tuktuk and also with a personal support Ravindu! Ravindu was with us at all the point he helped us get settled in, gave us local suggestions and took us to different points with always beautiful smile! They stay was very unique as you can see beautiful view of Ella rock and little Adam’s peak! It’s very dreamy!

I travelled to Ella with my wife for holiday. We found Grand Rock View to be a small, tranquil place with a great character. Our room with balcony offered us the views of the whole valley where the city of Ella is located, including the Ella Rock and the waterfalls. It was a pleasure to just sit there and watch the world go by in the evenings. The place was quiet, as it is located away from any main roads. However, the centre of Ella can be reached from there by a 5-minute walk on the nearby railway tracks (which is how people normally get around there). The host was great, helped us to orient ourselves for our hikes to the nearby hills and was bent to fulfil any of our wishes. He also recommended to us several interesting dining options in Ella. The breakfast at the resort was very good and enjoyable. We enjoyed our stay at Rock Grand View very much.
