This is a beautiful hostel with amazing views and great clean facilities! It’s been the nicest one I’ve stayed in thus far! So close to the beach and great local restaurants! And the walk there Is beautiful!The hosts were very kind and lovely and even helped me plan my bus route up to ella! I highly recommend and was sad to leave!

The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. Thanks for having us :)

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing, they even gave us fresh coconuts. The owner was incredibly sweet and has the most adorable dog, Niko. The property is surrounded by greenery, making it very peaceful and beautiful. The location was also very convenient.

Ramesh is the friendliest guy you will meet and will help you organise anything you need.

Ah perfectly located, lovely spot in the heart of Weligama. Just a few meters to the surf. Shops, bus stop, restaurants and coffeeshops are all right around the corner, yet the place feels secluded and calm. Rooms are spacious and have a balcony which is great to relax and dry clothes. The staff was absolutely welcoming and helpful and made me feel at home immediately.
