Sigiriya Sunshine Villa was an amazing place to stay during our visit to this beautiful area! The location is ideal—close to popular spots like Lion’s Rock and scenic hiking trails, making it perfect for exploring the region. One of the highlights of our stay was the fresh fruits offered during breakfast, all grown on their own land. It was such a treat to start the day with such delicious and natural flavors! The manager was incredibly attentive, always stopping by our table or greeting us when we passed by to ensure everything was perfect with our stay. This thoughtful attention made us feel truly cared for and welcome. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the villa was so peaceful. If you're looking for a cozy and hospitable place to stay near Sigiriya, Sunshine Villa is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

The property is literally in the jungle, and there are plenty of animals roaming around, from fireflies to birds, monkeys, reptiles and frogs, one even came out of the sink, but no worries, he was friendly. The garden is beautiful and Harsha was a gracious host. We had a delicious and very filling dinner for 1970 Rs. Harsha showed us the local native plants in the garden that they use for cooking. The location is close to Sigiriya Rock and even has a view of the rock from the dining area.

Excellent place, excellent staff, excellent location. We loved the food, very tasty and prepared with care. Breakfast was full of variety every day. Hosts were very kind and eager to help. We couldn't be happier, absolute value, would recommend to anybody without reservations.

The breakfast was amazing, there were two couches to chill on and sun beds and the pool was nice and everything was just so accommodating and lovely. We mostly stayed in cheaper places in Sri Lanka but decided to try this one because it looked amazing and it was absolutely worth the money! I really enjoyed staying there.

Located close to the road in walking distance to central part of Sigiriya town, but very quiet and peaceful. No noise from road or cafes, and sound insulation between rooms is good. People working here are very welcoming and friendly. Room was spacious and clean, AC worked good. The territory is beautiful with pond and greenery. Breakfast is also tasty and beautifully served.
