The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Waiting for any way to fulfill our needs. The manager, Denusha, helped us organize our trip with a safari, taxi from the airport and to Dambulla, fun converstations and even dropped us off at our bus stop. The location was peaceful and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. It was close enough that we could walk to the lion rock and the Piderangela hike also.

We had a wonderful stay at this unique accommodation right in the middle of the jungle! With rooftop viewpoints, a tranquil pool, and outstanding service, this place truly offers a special experience. Even though it's located a bit off the beaten path, the atmosphere more than makes up for it—you might not want to leave at all. The included breakfast was so generous it practically lasted us all day. In the evening, there was a great selection of local and Western dishes made with high-quality ingredients (though portions were on the smaller side). The peaceful pool area was perfect for unwinding, and the staff really took Sri Lankan hospitality to the next level. Occasional evening power fluctuations were handled smoothly with a temporary diesel generator, but it switched off well before bedtime, leaving only the soothing jungle sounds. For mobile work, this place may not be ideal—the Wi-Fi relies on a mobile connection, which wasn't strong enough for demanding online tasks. But for a relaxing holiday segment in Sri Lanka, this place gets our full recommendation! We arrived by public bus from Kandy, changing at Dambulla, and then took a Tuk Tuk from the Sigiriya bus stop to the accommodation for 1000 rupees. During our stay, we rented a scooter in Sigiriya, while other guests used rental Tuk Tuks to get around.

The environment of the hotel is very beautiful. The owner has a large orchard. In a corner of the orchard, there is a beautiful botanical garden, which was designed by the owner himself. We stayed in this botanical garden. You can imagine how beautiful it is! In addition, the hotel owner has a very polite son and a naughty and lovely daughter. We felt very happy playing with them.

My wife and I have always prefer to stay in an urban and nature environment. Firstly, I would say that the owners Mr. Mahesh and his spouse Mdm. Chandi has delivered the true Sri Lankan hospitality, they provided personalised services and always suggest the best on what activity we can do around Sigiriya. They even prepared fantastic meals for us based on our taste buds. They have never been pushy and that's the best 👌. Besides that, we have experienced a bombastic self vegetation plantation around the hidden lake cottages, If you are lucky 😃 actually every day is a lucky day, you will hear peacocks, cows, elephants and migration of various bird with their chippig sound and many other living creatures. It's like only ONE Call away and they are there to assist, In fact, Mr Mahesh shuttled us to the main road in order for us to take the bus. Little did we know that travelling by bus was satisfying and this was suggested by the beautiful property owners. Everything was so 👉 on point whereby on our last day, we did feel like we were gonna miss this home. Myself and my wife will definitely introduce this soothing and calm cottage to all our family, friends and those who need suggestions 😊. The hotel has large rooms with everything you need for a trip. The location is close to the main attractions, but it is quiet inside at night. The hotel territory is lovingly decorated. The owner was super polite and super kind. Both breakfast and lunch were delicious, I don't even know what else we could wish for.

The food served is genuine, delicious local food. Best food so far in Sri Lanka. Super peaceful and location is great to go around this beautiful area in Sri Lanka. Host always very helpful and responsive.
