Probably the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka (out of 9 places). We felt the most comfortable here – everything was nice, clean, and cozy, in a lovely location. You can walk to Lion's Rock. Very clean with also hair drier. Room is very new amd with high ceiling and the beds super comfortable. Amazing breakfast with fruit, fresh fruit juice, samball, eggs, jams, coconut rotti. Very nice location and style.

My partner and I received exceptional personal service from Sanjay and his wife Madhu who own Simoya, with nothing too much trouble. Breakfast on the balcony that overlooks the jungle with its monkeys, squirrels and other wildlife was a fantastic experience, with the traditional Sri Lankan breakfasts that the couple served us each morning absolutely delicious. Sanjay even made some phone calls to find out where I could get a spare part for my rental car. It was a great relaxing and refreshing stay!

In our opinion, it was the best accommodation we were able to stay at in Sri Lanka. A great location, surrounded by nature and a tranquility that allows one to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Additionally, clean rooms and a natural wooden decor – exactly what we love. Excellent food! The planned one night was extended, and for that, the generous and sweet family is responsible. They are extremely hospitable and always smiling. Very nice operator of this homestay. Jeep tour to the elephants was very impressive. The elephant families were 5 to 10 meters away from the jeep.... Without being disturbed. He also had a few other good ideas about what to do in the area. Breakfast very good and plenty. Absolute recommendation
