Dilini is an amazing host, she recommended us nice spots in Knuckles Forrest Reserve. I would definitely recommend to stay in Matale for more than 1 night and visit Knuckles as much as possible, the nature is really beautiful (although good to have a driver or a car to visit all the spots). Also, the room was very clean with all the needed facilities. Special thank you to Dilini for making a delicious cappuccino during the breakfast!

It turned out that we were the only guests, and we felt like really special ones. We were welcomed with fresh juice and a nice conversation by two lovely waiters/kitchen chefs. The view is amazing—better than in the photos. Breakfast was delicious. Our room had a cute balcony on the back side, and it was super quiet. The room was clean, and the staff were really attentive. They helped us organize a tuk-tuk to the city and arranged a car to take us on a full-day trip with a few stops along the way.

Sarath and his wife Deepthi are the most delightful hosts. We had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home in the jungle. We had a steam massage (highly recommended) and Sarath took us for walks around his spice plantation. It’s a beautiful place to unwind and chill, and you are looked after so well. Deepthi’s cooking is amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer!

What a beautiful quest house. It is set away from the busy main road and very peaceful. There is a restaurant, which we did not use, so I can't comment, but there was no noise, apart from some soft music,which was quite nice and chilled. The room was very clean, with clean bedding and towels. Staff were very helpful and Friendly. Loved this Lodge. I could have stayed longer just to enjoy the peacefulness. As we are travelling by bicycle, our bikes were very secure for the night.

A bit off the beaten path, but an easy walk or trishaw ride to town. Its location was a plus since it was peaceful and serene. The owner helped arrange a guide to Knuckles Forest Reserve. The meals were also delicious and authenticity Sri Lankan. We would definitely stay here again.

My family of four recently stayed at Cottage 2010. The cottage was spotless upon arrival, and the cleanliness was impressive throughout. The ambience felt cozy and inviting, like a true home away from home, with thoughtful decor that enhanced the warmth of the space. The service was exceptional; the staff was attentive and made us feel welcome, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. From the beautiful surroundings to the excellent upkeep, every detail was carefully attended to. Highly recommended for a peaceful family getaway

We booked the accommodation at the last minute. It's a lovely place with a beautiful view nestled between the tea fields. The old house is tastefully furnished, with very friendly staff and an excellent kitchen. There is a private waterfall on the estate that is truly worth visiting. We were very satisfied and would return anytime.
