Situated in Nuwara Eliya and only 3.8 km from Gregory Lake, Shevyhaws features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. We really enjoyed our stay. Chaminda is an excellent host. He is very knowledgeable about the area and gave us lots of accurate, up to date information about the area and things to do (much more up to date information than we were able to find online). The rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. The bedding is nice, warm and cosy – perfect for the slightly cooler weather in Nuwara Eliya. The shower had good hot water. The breakfast was nice and always on time each morning. We’d happily stay again.

Absolutely recommended to stay here.

At the guest house, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. The hotel is in a very good location, close to the city centre and just a few steps from a superb restaurant, Themparadu. Room was pristinely clean and spacious even though we were travelling as a family of four. The service is just outstanding, we had to completely rearrange our plans due to very poor weather and the manager was extremely helpful and flexible. Communication and support was amazing since the booking til we left Nuwara Eliya. We went for a drive around the town due to poor weather and the driver was a super friendly companion and a good guide, including help on the train station which welcomed us with a closed ticket office and cancelled train.
