Amazing place to stay with wonderful staff. Very friendly and willing to help with anything. Kitchen closes at 6pm (at least on the day we were there) but they made delicious dinner for us at 7:30 pm. We had a top floor room with stunning views and a very comfortable bed. Accommodation is next to the road so can be a bit noisy at night.

I had the best time at Visu Villa. The staff is super helpful and knowlegable about the area and all things to see and do. The food was great and in the evenings we would sit and talk or hear some music from Mr. Dhilip. I would highly recommend. Big thank you to Ruwan and all his amazing staff!

We were so happy to have stayed here! The lovely family welcomes you with open arms. They arrange sightseeing tours, which was perfect because we only stayed one night. They served the best rice and curry we had in three weeks. We are really bummed to leave in only one day, otherwise we would’ve definately joined the cooking class. The rooms are spacious and clean. It’s a place you must visit!

very nice location, near shops, bus station and city center. the owner is very friendly and give me tuk tuk ride to bus station. Breakfast is quite good.

This is a rare opportunity to experience true hospitality. Vilmal and his whole family maintain 3 small fine rooms in a beautifully maintained garden with a small terrace. We were warmly welcomed and Vilmal took the opportunity to drive us with his tuk tuk to sigiraya and polonnaruwa to act as a tourist guide. He entertained us with card tricks and organised safaris. The rooms are clean and simple. The breakfast is homemade and very tasty. We had a wonderful time relaxing, they fulfilled us every wish and made us feel like at home. We recommend it to everyone, who wants to experience true Sri lankan hospitality.
