Firstly, it is very remote so you would need to be comfortable riding a bike to get to Koh Touch or some of the other beaches. However, this was not an issue at all for us, the food on site is incredible, probably better than anywhere else on the island. Lonely beach is close by which you can either walk to or rent a Kayak/Bike to get there. There are the cutest dogs there as well which is a big bonus.

The hosts were very friendly & the food delicious. We enjoyed visiting Lonely Beach during the day, a lovely quiet beach which is within walking distance (around 40 mins).

The staff were like family, very helpful, accomodating and friendly. They offer scooters for rent or taxi service. They have an own kitchen and the food is very delicious with big portions. I booked a snorkelling trip through the hotel and was very content. I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed relaxing there. The place has great Wifi, which is very practical if you are working remotely. They keep the beach clean and its remote location guarantees no party buzz. Can highly recommend and will gladly come back! :-)

The best of our stay were the pavilions with available hammocks overlooking the sea and bay in front of the bungalows. Johny was a great help during our stay and welcomed us with a cold drink. He also organised a scooter and an amazing boat tour. A water tank is provided which is very much appreciated.

I highly recommend staying at Seashell when staying in M’pai Bay! The location is perfect, close to restaurants and the ferry. Short easy walk to the big beautiful beach near town. I loved that they organize activities each day like game night or bonfire on the beach to bring everyone together and socialize. Also recommend eating at the Cambodian Kitchen behind the hostel, bonus they’ll even deliver lunch or dinner to the hostel!
