Friend of Nature Bungalow is a recently renovated guest house in Koh Rong Island, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a water park. The accommodation features a business centre, room service and currency exchange for guests. This was one of the highlights of our 6 month trip around SE Asia. Definitely worth a stay here if you want a break from the busy life. This is a little piece of heaven, a 40 minute Tuk Tuk drive from the main strip of Koh Rong. Staying on a floating bungalow on the mangrove, you can take a free Kayak whenever you want and go around the mangrove or to the sea. You can volunteer to teach local children English, which was a great experience. A great place to recharge, with nice food places around the property and gorgeous nature and scenery to surround you. Couldn’t recommend it more.

I loved that they organize activities each day like game night or bonfire on the beach to bring everyone together and socialize. Also recommend eating at the Cambodian Kitchen behind the hostel, bonus they’ll even deliver lunch or dinner to the hostel!

The bungalows are cozy and have everything you need. The food in the restaurant was great! They do great snorkeling/fishing tours (incl. sunset snd plankton) - we had a lot of fun! the staff is very helpful and nice! we would have stayed longer!

Guests at the hostel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Koh Rong Sanloem, like hiking. I extended my 3-night stay by another night here. Honestly, you could easily stay for at least a month. Tasha and Kirsten’s hospitality, the location being a paradise, the wooden house I stayed in, and its incredible comfort all made me feel right at home. The place has a plant-based kitchen, and they’re currently experimenting with new flavors. My favorite was the Scrambled Tofu Wrap! It was amazing—I practically licked my fingers. The bar’s cocktails are also excellent. You can watch the landscape from the bar through the sea and the trees! This is a perfect spot for vegan and vegetarian friends to stay at a very reasonable price while enjoying the peace of the island. There are also some small animal friends like cats and dogs around. In the evenings, there’s even a larger lizard buddy who walks along the upper beams of the bar, looking around. This place is truly wonderful—definitely visit!

The guest house has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. Great stay at Blondies,John the host is the best host,super chill,attentive and always ready to meet any needs from the guests. The location to me it is the best at Sok San,past the village on the little 'hill' overlooking the bay. Bungalows are basics but really clean and with anything you need,a fridge,a kettle,plenty wall sockets etc. To get to the beach is a mere and pleasant 10 minutes walk. No brainer choice in Sok San.

It is set less than 1 km from M’Pai Bay Wild Beach and provides bicycle parking. It is possible for guests to sit outside and enjoy the property grounds. The owner was super friendly and helpful throughout the stay. I loved the location 200m up the road from the beach, close enough to be convenient to everywhere but far enough away to have a silent night's sleep. The restaurant directly across the road is probably the best in Mpay Bay too.
