At the guest house, the restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and brunch and serves American cuisine. Everything! We were met by Asai who explained everything we needed to know including payments, food options, rentals etc. Bungalows are lovely and have a fan which was absolutely fine for us. There are only 6 and they are spaced out from each other so you feel you have privacy. Each bungalow had a nice outdoor seating area. The restaurant served amazing food, we had breakfast every day and dinner once and was really good with very, very generous portions! It's also a lovely setting and if you climb a few stairs there is a rooftop platform for lounging on. Kayaks are available for rental which would be perfect as the property is based amongst the mangroves, unfortunately we didn't get to to this as they were booked out! And yes, the river otter is still there and very cute! You will hear him coming when the dogs go mental lol. As per other reviews it is in a rural location, however based on our research of reviews and being able to ride bikes, this was no problem for us. However even if you don't drive, its a great location for just chilling and relaxing! Property can also support you with tuk tuks to and from the pier. We had a great stay, thank you to Lin, Asai, Lily and family!

The guesthouse is beautifully preserved and decorated, you can feel the heart that’s been put into it. The owners are very helpful and welcoming. We had a great stay - thank you!

It is 26 km to Sihanoukville. We loved everything about Bunnan Bungalows. Fantastic location, Coconut Beach is beautiful. We were there for only 3 nights and would love to have stayed longer. Unfortunately, they were fully booked out. The staff were all so kind and friendly. The tuk tuk driver was a character 😆

Guests at Dragonfly Guesthouse M'Pai Bay will be able to enjoy activities in and around Koh Rong Sanloem, like hiking. I extended my 3-night stay by another night here. Honestly, you could easily stay for at least a month. Tasha and Kirsten’s hospitality, the location being a paradise, the wooden house I stayed in, and its incredible comfort all made me feel right at home. The place has a plant-based kitchen, and they’re currently experimenting with new flavors. My favorite was the Scrambled Tofu Wrap! It was amazing—I practically licked my fingers. The bar’s cocktails are also excellent. You can watch the landscape from the bar through the sea and the trees! This is a perfect spot for vegan and vegetarian friends to stay at a very reasonable price while enjoying the peace of the island. There are also some small animal friends like cats and dogs around. In the evenings, there’s even a larger lizard buddy who walks along the upper beams of the bar, looking around. This place is truly wonderful—definitely visit!

Great stay at Blondies,John the host is the best host,super chill,attentive and always ready to meet any needs from the guests. The location to me it is the best at Sok San,past the village on the little 'hill' overlooking the bay. Bungalows are basics but really clean and with anything you need,a fridge,a kettle,plenty wall sockets etc. To get to the beach is a mere and pleasant 10 minutes walk. No brainer choice in Sok San.

It is set less than 1 km from M’Pai Bay Wild Beach and provides bicycle parking. It is possible for guests to sit outside and enjoy the property grounds. The owner was super friendly and helpful throughout the stay. I loved the location 200m up the road from the beach, close enough to be convenient to everywhere but far enough away to have a silent night's sleep. The restaurant directly across the road is probably the best in Mpay Bay too.

Perfect little seafront guesthouse for backpackers. The owners just finished renovating the place. M'pai has great spots for swimming, snorkelling and plankton swimming, a great variety of really good restaurants and an extremely welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. In that environment, the owners created a lovely, simple and creative, affordable guesthouse. There are fans and curtains in every bed of the dorm and they have two small rooms for more privacy as well. They are genuinely nice and super helpful so all in all we had a great time staying with them.
