The guesthouse is vegan, vegetarian, and sustainable, making it perfect for those who are not just consumers but also care deeply about the environment, animals, sustainability, and local communities. The concept behind this guesthouse is both smart and meaningful. I truly enjoyed it and dined at their ground-floor restaurant for nearly all my meals; everything was incredibly delicious! They set up an account for meals, scooter rentals, and laundry, allowing you to pay by card (or cash) before checking out, which was extremely convenient. Located in a quiet, local area away from the bustling tourist and party zones, the guesthouse also features a fantastic rooftop viewpoint where you can order drinks and food from the kitchen below. It’s a great place to relax or practice yoga. My room boasted a spacious balcony, a writing desk, ample space for hanging and storing clothes, a fan, and air conditioning. Plus, the bathroom had refillable bottles of local organic shampoo and soap. Overall, it was an amazing experience. I also strongly suggest visiting Nibi Spa, which was mentioned on the guesthouse notice board. It features a sauna with a stunning view of the river. Additionally, swimming in the river was an absolute delight!

You can play billiards at the guest house. FREE DRINKING WATER AND BANANAS! Seriously, that's a total lifesaver since finding free water in Cambodia can be tough. The place itself was super charming and comfy, but what really made it stand out was the staff. Like, seriously, they were amazing. So friendly, always smiling, and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. They even helped me out big time when I had a moment of crisis getting my visa extension figured out, and let me extend my stay until everything was finalized. The whole team there really made my trip to Kampot special.

And the room was very clean! - The location is very quiet so you'll have an amazing sleep. Having said that, it's only a 10-15min walk to the Durian roundabout / centre of town. It's even closer to a lovely pond and the southern part of the riverside, which had an amazing night market when I went there. - I liked it so much (as well as the Kampot area) that I extended my stay.

It was great to stay here! We hadn't slept well in a few days in Cambodia and we had the best sleeps ever here. Comfy pillows, comfy bed, great breakfast and coffee and great hosts. We were driving a tuktuk so it was easy to get into town from here.

Very easy to communicate. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Three meals a day are possible here, so being a little away from the city center is no problem. It is an easy tuk-tuk or motorbike ride into town, and Hidden Oasis has a motorbike available for rent.

This guest house features free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. The restaurant serves African and American cuisine, as well as Argentinian and Cambodian dishes. The bungalows are great and clean with a mosquito net for the bed. The true highlight of this place is Mr Leng who is an absolutely lovely guy with many stories to tell. If you stay here you must go with him on his free 2 hour tour around fish island where you will see the most beautiful sunset, salt fields ajd much much more. There are also bikes you can use for free and you are only a 20 minute walk to center of Kampot. Highly recommend spending a few nights here, you won’t regret it.

I recommend taking the kayak out for a sunset tour, as I was alone Monica joined and it was just lovely. The food is also very good and the staff is just amazing.

Dickens , the owner, was most helpful and polite. I thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay at Ta Eng Guesthouse and wish I had stayed there before. The location is in a quiet part of town and around a ten minute walk to the Durian roundabout. I would like to thank him for all the drinks he gave me as part of the Chinese New Year festivities !
