We were especially delighted that a kimono sensei was present to guide us step-by-step on how to properly wear a kimono, making the experience even more authentic and meaningful. What made it even more special was being able to participate in a hands-on session where we learned some of the dance steps ourselves. This gave us a much deeper appreciation for the local culture and traditions, creating memories we will cherish forever. The next morning, we enjoyed a relaxing breakfast with freshly brewed coffee and tea, accompanied by their delicious farm-produced honey. Knowing that the honey was lovingly made by the family on their own farm, surrounded by the beautiful natural landscapes of Aomori, made it taste even more special. This stay was the perfect blend of cultural immersion, local flavors, and genuine hospitality. We are truly grateful for the kindness, joy, and unforgettable experiences shared by the host and their family. Nambu Town is a fascinating place and truly a hidden gem. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic and heartwarming experience.

Their house told a story, filled with warmth, history, and the little personal touches that made it feel lived-in and loved. From the amazing homemade breakfast to the delicious ramen dinners they prepared, every meal was made with care and love. The guest house is conveniently located, just a short walk from a supermarket and a laundromat, which made things really easy for us. This personal, welcoming experience truly made our trip special. The hotel owner is kind and funny. I have a great experience here.

Ski-to-door access, a ski pass sales point and ski storage space are all featured at Pension Puutaro, and guests can go skiing in the surroundings. location is very good, right outside the ropeway and chairlifts. ladyboss is super friendly and helpful. i wasnt well and skipped breakfast, she hand grated apples and gave me an energy drink to help my indigestion! I'm really grateful for her help and concern. she also gave us ticket to the public onsen. 😍 thank you so much, we had a wonderful time.

As a solo traveller or couple, if you are looking for a social/local experience with long nights of talking and sharing with the other guests, this is the perfect place. Home-cooked dinner based on donation was the best food I've had in Japan so far.
