When we arrived (which was late due to traffic) we were greeted by the enthusiasm of the host, he helped us with parking and was very excited to show us the place. We felt very welcome. There are private bathrooms which you can book to bath with your friends/family, one of the best thing about this little gem in Atami:) I was surprised by the cleanliness and the comfort level here. it’s a newly refurbished building, it has three floors with a spacious living room/common room on the second floor which is shared by all the customers here. The room comes with a standard toilet and a shower and quite spacious overall. The tatami bed is comfy. Other reviews complained about the location, but because we drive we think it is an amazing spot! It’s 3 min drive from the famous shrine, and 5 minute to the ginza where there is lots of restaurants and shops. You can also see the fireworks display in the living room if you come on the right times:) We didn’t get the youthful and energetic host’s name, but thank you so much we had a great time staying!!

Waking up in the morning to beautiful and serene beach view. Staff was very polite and helpful. Barbeque place was also there 😃

The location is stunning, but the hosts are just the loveliest, friendliest and most welcoming people in the world. We had an unforgettable stay at Romey's. The food was amazing, the atmosphere amazing and we just had the best night. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, everyone should stay here....!!!

He cares about our comfort and has a genuine curiosity about the guests. I felt like at home. Really cozy and comfortable stay. 100% recommended!

The hostel was amazing, the facilities were very clean and you can use them whenever you need. Ryohey was such an amazing host, he knows many good spots around Izu, he also gave me directions to get to some of them (thanks my friend). If I am around the area again I'd definitely stay here.

Fuji, this guest house is conveniently located just a minute's walk from JR Fujinomiya Station. The host was super nice and welcoming! The place was fantastic!

The lady (Makiko) was exceptionally helpful. we arrived late and she drove us to a nearby convenience store to grab some food. On our checkout day, it was raining and she kindly sent us to the train station.
