Stayed twice at this little family hotel. Love the location and all the little rituals the owners have. For example, when checking out you can choose two of over 15 variants of photographs of the local nature that the owner takes himself. Since we stayed as a family, everyone got to choose two and now we have a great collection of photos of these beautiful area. The hotel is comfortable, clean and has it’s own small onsen. Thank you for the hospitality!

The owner treated us so nice! The property is in a quiet village but very close to the train station. Our stay was very comfortable. The owner even allowed us to keep our luggage there after checkout and then gave us a ride to the train station. Would definitely come again!

In the Shuzenji Onsen district of Izu, close to Shuzen-ji Temple, Hostel Knot has a shared lounge and a washing machine.

Good location, really quiet and a lot of space to work/chat/relax... The dorm room is really cute. Good recommendations from the staff. The onsen near by was really good !

The two hosts are friendly and helpful. They gave us excellent dining suggestions and driving tips. The male host is very patient and nice, always talking to us in a cheerful manner. He was also generous to offer us all basic items.

Very close to the beach, simple but very testy breakfast. Great place for surfing, you can rent a boat here. Great nice onsen.

Genuinely such an amazing place. It was so comfortable and the host was so accommodating! She was so lovely. This place is close to the bus stop so it’s easy to get around to places like the Kawazu Waterfalls etc. Definitely add the breakfast to your booking it was so good especially since there’s not much around restaurant-wise. The rooms were comfortable and had aircon. Would 100% recommend staying here!

Excellent location - right next to the Sakura tunnel. You can enjoy it at night and slowly make your way back to the station the next day. It's a Japanese style house so it is very cosy and calming. The cat is also adorable and friendly (though you can't normally touch him) There is air conditioning and we also got a big hot water bottle and it was amazing to cuddle it at night! There was also some spring water(?) available to drink. The owner is able to explain all amenities in English so I didn't have to turn on my Japanese speaking part of my brain. She also gave some recommendations on where to go. Asami is an excellent host 👍 I wish i could come here again.
