Although we did not cook anything in the house, the kitchen was well equipped with various cooking aids and gadgets. A private parking spot ca. 70 meters from the house was also provided for us. The hostess, who speaks good English, was waiting us at the house, explained the usage and gave good tips what to look and where to go to eat. The house also included 4 bikes in somewhat differing sizes for the usage by the guests.

The entire facility is yours and in the morning, people from the community also gather in the facility and we even got to enjoy the loveliest breakfast of onigiri and miso soup together. The owner also provided a personal guide of places to see in the neighbourhood that was really insightful. I cannot stress how grateful we are to have been able to stay here and we are so thankful to the people who continue to work so hard at Guesthouse Kinari so that everyone can feel right at home at this space.
