The place is beautiful and cosy and it looks even better in person than on the photos. Not to mention the location in Gion but in a quiet street, which allows you to stroll in some of the most beautiful areas of Kyoto in the evening when it is super quiet.

And of course the cats were adorable! The location was also very convenient near several public transportation lines to the key sights. The calm neighbourhood gave a great escape from the buzz of the city.

She even gave me a ride to Kyoto Station on my last day and always checked on me daily to see how I was. Very kind family. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit!
