We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and can't thank our hosts enough for their warm hospitality. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a comfortable and convenient stay.

The house is an old Japanese style (which itself is awesome) and in the middle of Gion district. Most sights of old Kyoto are within walking distance (5-20min), but the house is in a quiet street. There are only two guest rooms in the house, it’s super clean, and Linda and her husband make sure you have everything you need and give great advise what to visit and when. They are the most amazing people and make you feel right at home. Thank you for everything!!!

It was a large comfortable space for a family of four to stretch out and have as our home base to travel and explore Kyoto, so much better option than small hotel room. The host was so kind, and used google translate to help explain everything in the house. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was very spacious. We ate out, so did not use the kitchen, but everything was available to cook yourself.
