We had an incredible stay with a stunning river view, where the green-blue water and private balcony made for a perfect escape. The room was comfortable, and my personal highlight was the handmade mugs, carefully selected by the owners at a local farmers market, showcasing beautiful Japanese ceramic craftsmanship. Sipping coffee while gazing at the river became a special ritual during my stay. It was a peaceful, authentic experience that I’ll always remember—truly the highlight of our trip!

It’s nice and quiet with only sounds of nature audible. The bathing facilities are in a separate small building, which makes the place quite unique. The hosts made a very flexible check in possible and prepared some refreshments.

Much love and care has gone into making the place feel fun and comfortable. Stay as many nights as you can! The local restaurants are excellent and there’s a local supermarket and plenty of sake!

Everyone was so nice and I felt like at home right away. It was very clean and comfortable. The common space is also great for hanging out and I had a fun night with the staff and other guests. Unfortunately I only stayed for one night, but I'll definitely come again and stay much longer!

But what made the stay exceptional was the incredibly kind and welcoming host – they made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The location is also perfect, either on the way to or back from Cape Ashizuri and Temple 38.
