We were travelling around on motorbikes and found this fantastic guesthouse, which was very clean, with spacious rooms and all amenities required within striking distance to Mt Aso. The owner was very helpful, even helping us book ferry tickets to Shikoku, and the attached Izakya had great food and atmosphere.

As a pilgrim walking the Shikoku Henro, I stayed here for one night and was truly impressed. The guesthouse is spacious, very clean, and extremely well-equipped. But what made the stay exceptional was the incredibly kind and welcoming host – they made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The location is also perfect, either on the way to or back from Cape Ashizuri and Temple 38.

One of the best stay I had in Japan. Beautiful japanese tatami room, full of sunlight. You can see the river by the window, really relaxing place. Owners are very accommodating too !
