Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. Wow. The entire facility was amazing and easy to find. The staff were very kind and helpful with directions and help. The room quarters and shared lounge were the best I've experienced in a guest house environment. The Onsen was phenomenal, the outside in particular was beautiful especially early morning when it first opens. The view from the guest house after/during the rain is magnificent, you can watch the mist roll off the mountains

Parking lot was plenty. The hostess let us check-in early even though we arrived relatively early. The rooms were traditional style with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

His English is really good and his sense of humour even better. His knowledge of the area and itinerary suggestions worked very well for us. We’d highly recommend the local izakaya 800m from his place.
