Pretty little guesthouse with an amazing decor and plenty of charming commodities in the common areas - you can even play Super Mario World 3 :) Super nice and helpful staff, clean tatami room with futons and a decent location, 8 minutes away from the train station. No complaints!

The place was great and just on the trail. The host was also great. Since the place was far from the train station, he came to pick us up to the train station, drove us to the place to drop luggage and then drop us in the center of town. Also, the host provided us with some breakfast (coffee, break, milk, bananas, ...) so we could eat something before start walking the trail.

Magome and Guesthouse Yanagiya was our favourite part of the whole Japan trip. Many thanks to the owner and host, - we hope to return again :)

The little neighbourhood is very cute. The garden was a magic touch. The beds were very comfortable. Although breakfast at the cafe was delicious. We loved our stay. My daughter said that it was her dream house.
