The place is actually better than the photos. The house is right on the walkway between Migome and Tsumago. The owners are such beautiful people and they will drive you wherever you need to get to for free. Truly the highlight of our Japan holiday. We highly highly recommend this place.

Atsushi was so nice and welcoming, speaking great English, and he drove me to Magome - the beginning of the trail. The house is a beautiful traditional house, very minimalistic and pleasant. Everything was so beautiful and comfortable! One thing you need to mind though - the village is very small, and there's nothing to do in the evening. Even finding open restaurants for dinner after 7pm is quite impossible

Each room is equipped with a terrace with garden views and free WiFi. great host, Hiko. friendly and spoke English well. we arrived late but he waited for us so he can personally welcome us. the apartment is very near the Gifu-Hashima Station and there are restaurants and konbinis nearby.
