I could walk to Kinomiya shrine from the hotel. Nice view from the room seeing birds and squirrel and I could see the Hatsushima Island. It is very peaceful atmosphere around this area. The Hotel was clean and a nice big size. Private spring bath was great! There was a large window in the lounge room morning sun shine straight through. Owner of this hotel was very kind and helpful. I am very happy to find this Hotel.

Some people won't like that it's 20 to 30 minutes walk from the train station, but I found walking through the neighborhood streets really great. It''s located directly next door to a large supermarket and a kitchen is also provided so you can self cater. There are also several great local neighborhood restaurants within five to 10 minutes away. The staff are very accommodating. Everything is new and the beds were very comfortable

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set 5.4 km from Otsumago. The place was great and just on the trail. The host was also great. Since the place was far from the train station, he came to pick us up to the train station, drove us to the place to drop luggage and then drop us in the center of town. Also, since it is not easy to get a taxi, he came to pick up us to the restaurant after dinner. Also, the host provided us with some breakfast (coffee, break, milk, bananas, ...) so we could eat something before start walking the trail.

Self check in was a multi step process as some of the reviews say buy it's ok if you follow the instructions in the right order. Have fun with it!

At the guest house, each unit includes bed linen and towels. We loved the Japanese style room and the superb kitchen area and common room with fab views. Everything was brand new. The staff were extraordinary. All of the staff were wonderful, especially Tahiki who helped us driving us to the slopes and booking restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble.
