He also arranged for us the two essential journeys from Amman: to Petra and the Dead Sea. We've been picked up by a friendly and English speaking driver.

We chose Villa Mira Guesthouse because of the excellent reviews and supporting photos, but I must admit to being slightly worried that it was a bit expensive. . . how wrong I was! The accommodation is so large and impressive, and the services are of such a high quality, that it was worth every dinar!! Our host Mohammad could not have been more helpful. He is a good-humoured and intelligent young man who explained everything and even arranged our airport transfer (with the excellent Raed) before we flew out to Jordan. As mentioned, the apartment has everything you need, with spacious rooms, en-suite bathrooms, efficient air conditioning, reliable Wi-Fi, a useful kitchen, and a dispenser of cool drinking water. Khirfan Street felt safe and is a short walk from the busy Downtown and nearby Rainbow Street. The view over the Old Town from our private terrace was mesmerising. One great bonus is the little café next-door (to the right as you look at the Khirfan Street door to Villa Mira). It is run by amazingly friendly people and they make fresh pizza and the best hummus we had during our entire trip!!

Ahmed has a rich knowledge of Amman and even shared many travel tips for Egypt which I look forward to visiting. I recommend Rainbow House and will 100% return when I come back to Amman.
