Richardo, who spoke very good English, was very welcoming offering a good Italian breakfast each morning, with choices of English tea or coffee. Also, he was very helpful with places to go and finding free parking, plus any other problems which may arise, as we weren't Italian speakers.

The building is one of the historic guesthouses of the church of San Vitale which is directly opposite. The interiors are comfortable and have a beautiful simple style, the rooms are clean and modern. There is a gorgeous quiet courtyard below with a fountain where you can have an aperitivo - prosecco, campari and soft drinks and little snacks are made available free for the guests every evening which is a wonderful touch. Considering what a wonderful place and location it is the price is extremely good! We had a wonderful special stay for our 15th anniversary and will certainly come back again.
